MFM imaging of a ferromagnetic multi-layer

 

These MFM measurements were taken on a ferromagnetic multi-layer with the stacking structure Pt(50) [Co(3)Pt(7)]9 Co(3) Pt(20), where the thickness values are given in Ångstrom. A sequence of two images at 15.2 K sample temperature was taken with increasing magnetic field strength. In the second image the change of domain shape is clearly visible, as highlighted in red.
