Comparison of magnetic resolution on hard disk media

 

The above images demonstrate the superior magnetic resolution of the hr-MFM. Hard disk media provides the ideal magnetic test bed to compare magentic resolution of an MFM. The image on the left shows a direct comparison between the hr-MFM and a commerical MFM on the same track. The images on the right show the lateral magnetic resolution of the hr-MFM to be 10 nm, which is guaranteed.
